Now that the Holidays are over!

The Holidays are now over and now we all have new adventures that are going on in our lives right now. This Christmas we were able to spend it in New Jersey and we had such a great time! Paisley loved seeing her grandparents and aunt and uncles. She was full of energy and could really tell she loves her family!

What was also crazy is that me and Paisley were in NJ for about a whole month! Me and Paisley flew out on the 8th of December. We went earlier then Zack because my grandmother was in the hospital and we wanted to see her. So that was the start of this big adventure. Paisley did pretty well on the plane, and I was a nervous wreck before hand. Flying with Paisley was one of my worst nightmares and especially alone. But she did great! Luckily the first flight we had a whole row to ourselves for her to stand and play. And she actually slept for about 20 minutes..... woohooo... and then the second flight came. I had high hopes and knew I only had about 3 hours left until we landed and this would all be over. The second flight was packed. And to make it even more wonderful, we were in the middle of two men. On the left side was this guy who was so nice! He played with Paisley, and didnt care that she was slobbering lollipop all over. The guy on the right was not so happy. But at that point, I didnt know what else to do. I had a child that just wanted to get down and run. So eventually I let her run up and down the aisle for a few minutes. We then landed and phew! it was over!

We had a fun week, and Paisley took a few days to get used to the family. That was a little hard for all of us, but it worked out well. On the 17th Zack flew out and was able to be with us for the remainder of our trip. While we were there, we had Christmas dinner with the family, saw a movie, rode go karts and just had a nice relaxing fun time with the family. It was such a nice vacation.

And me and Zack went into the city on New Years with my brother and a friend to see the ball drop. We actually didnt get to see the ball, but we were there, and so that was all that matters!! After midnight we ran to the train station to catch the 12:50 train. We finally made it home around 345 in the morning! We are glad that we got to experience it, but will probably never do it again.

We flew back to Boise on the 4th and it was a sad goodbye. I hate leaving my family, and it is so hard to be away from them. But I am looking forward to the next time I see them (even though I have no idea when that is). So that means me and Pay were gone for about a whole month. And now the fun begins with trying to get her back on this time zone. We are working on it, but it was all worth it!!

Ok so here is photo bombs!!

Paisley is ONE!!

Alright, so I obviously am not the best blogger, but hey, as long as I write the important information down, like Paisleys first birthday, I think that is alright! To start off with, we have been busy. Zack has been going to school all day, and then working at night. And Paisley has been keeping me on my toes for sure.
She is walking and has been since 8 1/2 months. Now she is very good at it, and is getting into everything. Here is a little bit of what Paisley likes and dislikes.

LIKES
Bananas
The cat
screaming
mommy
daddy
grandma
grandpa
Animal crackers
blowing bubbles
putting on her shoes
throw her hands up when we say touchdown
chicken nuggets ( yes she is a very picky eater )
sweets ( mommys girl for sure)
mac and cheese
being outside

Dislikes
Being held like a baby
naps
being told no
putting clothes on
baby food
car rides
Strangers( mostly men )
hugs
kisses ( haha)

This past year, Paisley has been the best thing to happen in our lives. At times, it has been the hardest job in the world, but we are reminded of how worth it, it is when we hear her laugh and smile. Paisley is very independant and likes to do things by herself. She likes to eat by herself and walk by herself. She also likes to pick out her own toys and what snacks she eats. She has a mind of her own, and knows what she wants!

For her 1 year old stats
 21. 4 for weight
29.25 for height
18.25 head    (still has a big head, thank you daddy :) )

She is growing perfectly and is so strong. She likes being a big girl and playing with the other children.

We also had to celebrate Paisleys birthday a little early this year because Grandpa Toomey was only in town for a few days. It was so fun to see her eat cake and open her presents.

As you can see, we had such a great time celebrating our little princess's birthday. She is the light of our lives, and we are better people because of her. One year ago she made us parents, and we only hope that we can be a better one each day to come.

We love you our dearest Paisley and cant wait to have you for forever!

Paisley

What can I say about her? She is crazy!! So Paisley will be 9 months on the 29th. she is growing up so fast. she is walking, and crawling, and moving, and getting into everything.

I was able to get a video of paisley walking on the first day she started to. She walks more then that now, but here is one!

Paisley has her 9 month appointment next week, which then I will have her height and weight. She is very entertaining to watch. She loves to talk, scream, wiggle, laugh, and clap.

She is very active, but the only thing I sometimes worry about is her not talking. She doesnt say mama or dada. She will make the sound of dadadadadadadada over and over but doesnt attribute it to zack. So I am not sure if we are doing something wrong, but she hasnt seemed to grasp any of it. And maybe I dont need to worry just yet.

Zack has still been working at Tucanos. He is there all of the time. Hence, why I am writing this at midnight. I am waiting for him to just come home already!

A look at our summer.... SO FAR

So this post is a little late, but its better late then never!

Paisley is now 8 months. I cant believe how fast it has gone by. She still has no teeth, but today I finally felt them. They are sticking out a little!! She also is a huge crawler. She is moving around a ton and loves to pull out all of our dvds and cds. She never stops moving. But it is so fun to see her grow and new things that she enjoys. She also can stand up and will push off of you and balance for about 30 seconds all by herself!! She does this all of the time, and we are convinced she is going to be an early walker. She is also talking a lot more. She says dadadadadadadada. She doesnt know it means "dada" but its fun to listen to her go, because once she goes, she just doesnt stop. We have also gotten a little better on sleeping. She has slept through the night a few times, and now is mostly just getting up once. If I go in and just give her a bottle she will fall back asleep. We do need to work on that, but I decided to choose one battle at a time. ( I feel like this is going to be something I will be doing even as she is a teenager ;)   )   She is so fun, and loves to smile. She also loves swimming and daddy, mommy, and paisley go swimming almost everyday. We also just bought her a little floater thing that she can sit in all by herself in the water. She is also doing very well on solids. She doesnt like baby food as much because big people food apparently tastes so much better. But she really isnt too picky. Paisley also loves animals and will chase a dog or cat any chance she gets. She is so entertaining and we just love her to pieces!

Zachary is still working hard at Tucanos. He is such a hard worker, and I am so grateful for him. He starts school at the end of August and I think he is excited to get started.

This summer my mom and sister came out to visit for 2 weeks. It was so fun to have them here, and I was so sad to see them go. It was so nice to have them around and paisley sure loved it to. We traveled to Rexburg and back, and then the next weekend to Utah. Paisley was a trooper and did as well as she possibly could have done.

5 months!

Paisley turned 5 months on the 29th of April. I cant believe how fast she is growing. It is just amazing to see how much she learns in such a little time.

What she loves- being a big girl! loves to play and talk, and also is trying to crawl. She has not gotten the hang of her arms yet but is getting so strong. She is trying so hard to sit up and rarely likes to lay on the floor unless she is being played with.

She is also getting the hang of sleep a little better. Still a work in progress but a lot better then before.

Me and Paisley are lucky enough to go visit her grandma and grandpa berta in NJ on the 15th. We are very excited but sad at the same time. We wish daddy could come but he has to work.

This is Zacks last week of school and he has done so well. He is just trying to finish up. And he also got a new job at Tucanos. He has already started and we are very excited for this new work opportunity.

Besides that, there is not much going on. We love to watch Paisley grow, and see all of the milestones that she accomplishes everyday.

Here is a video of her!

Family Pictures

Here are some family pictures we took this past week!
If you want to see more that we didnt buy let me know

4 months

Paisley turned 4 months on the 29 of March. She is growing so fast! At her doctors appt, she weighed in at 13.4 lbs, her head is 16, and she is 25 1/4 inches tall!

She was only 21 at her 2 month and so she had a major growth spurt. They said she is in the 90 percentile for height, 70th for head, and 50th for weight. We are a little surprised at our tall little girl! I think she will just grow fast and be tall until about 6th grade and not grow anymore. ( Im convinced she is going to take after me ).

Paisley loves to laugh and smile. She also loves to roll over. Everytime you put her down, she will roll. Its pretty funny because then she gets upset, but she is doing it all by herself.

This is my last week of school and I just barely finished my last test. I am glad to be done this semester. Zack still has a few more weeks but then will be doing a couple classes in the summer also. So he will be kept busy. He is also still working and doing so much for us!
